We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Food Production Operative. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a hardworking team involved in food processing and packaging operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Working on a production line, preparing raw meat products (pork, beef, poultry).
- Adding ingredients, packing, and labelling finished goods.
- De-boxing and de-bagging meat primal, placing them into trays.
- Lifting boxes (up to kg) from pallets to work areas.
- Disposing of waste materials into designated skips.
- Collecting clean trays from the tray wash area.
- Rotating through various tasks with the team.
- Ensuring strict hygiene and food safety standards.
- Supporting overall team productivity.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in the food industry, ideally handling raw meat.
- Ability to work in cold conditions for extended periods (approx. 8 hours).
- A strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
