We are looking for an experienced Industrial Cleaner to join a busy manufacturing site in the ST4 area. The successful candidate must have previous cleaning experience within a manufacturing, industrial, warehouse or factory environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning offices, toilets, canteens and communal areas
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the manufacturing site
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and wiping down surfaces
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly
- Using magnets to collect metal offcuts safely from production areas
- Following site health and safety procedures
- Replenishing cleaning and hygiene supplies
- Working safely around machinery, employees and production activities
- Reporting hazards, spillages or maintenance issues
Requirements
- Previous industrial or manufacturing cleaning experience is essential
- Experience working in a busy environment
- Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and COSHH procedures
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual cleaning duties
- Able to follow instructions and comply with health and safety requirements
Hours and Pay
- Daytime hours
- Location: ST4 area
- Pay depends on experience but will be no less than the applicable National Minimum Wage
- Immediate start may be available
