Salary: £537.46+ per child per week.

All our carers are paid above the Fostering Network Payment Guidelines. The only prerequisites to employment are:

  • You must have a spare bedroom suitable for fostering.
  • You must be over 21 years of age (there is no upper age limit).
  • Ideally, you will have experience working with or interacting with children or young people.

Responsibilities

We are always seeking carers from different cultural, religious, and racial backgrounds, single people, and couples (whether married or living together, with or without children). The process of becoming a Foster Carer is not as difficult as you may think. From initial enquiry through to approval could take as little as 3 months, with the majority completed within 6 months. You will be offered training from the very beginning and ongoing training throughout your fostering career.
