An established Mechanical & Electrical Building Services Design Practice based in Hampshire is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent contract. They are a successful M&E Consultancy with an enviable portfolio of clients, working on a broad range of projects including mixed-use developments, bespoke residential, commercial new builds, and public sector schemes.
As a result of continued success, they are looking to strengthen their team by hiring an Electrical Design Engineer or Senior Electrical Design Engineer to support and lead on projects from initial client contact and design brief to final account. The successful applicant will be assisting on projects from start to finish, engaging with all project stakeholders both internal and external, carrying detailed designs, and undertaking design review meetings to ensure project success as per schedule and to specification.
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will ideally be educated to degree level within a Building Services discipline and a member of CIBSE; however, my client is just as keen to meet prospective candidates whose experience outweighs qualification. The key elements to this position are excellent communication and project management skills, coupled with the technical design capabilities.
