Rail M&E Estimator - Kent

Rail / M&E Estimator Tier One Civil Engineering Contractor Hybrid working – Kent Are you an experienced Estimator looking to be involved in the winning of complex M&E works within the Rail sector? Then a role with this market leading Contractor could be for you. My client is a specialist division within a multi billion Civil Engineering Contractor delivering highly specialised M&E schemes across Rail sector, they are looking to hire an M&E Estimator to work within a live Rail environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the estimated cost of a project is prepared correctly in an explicit and consistent manner which takes into account the methods of construction and all circumstances which may affect the execution of the work on a project within the rail M&E specialist team. As an Estimator, your duties will include; * Ensure tender documents, addendums, client correspondence etc., are logged on the server and relevant team members are issued with copies. * Produce sub-contractor enquiry schedule, obtaining suggestions / feedback from the tender team, procurement department preferred/ approved contractor schedules. * Issue sub-contract enquiries, including scope of works and attendance schedules (where applicable). * Issue materials enquiries If this opportunity would be of interest to you, please contact Peter Morse
