My client is a growing Regional Civil Engineering Contractor delivering Schemes for multiple clients across the Highways Sector. They are looking to add a Project Manager to lead a scheme in Essex.
Responsibilities
Leading project teams to exceed expectations, ensuring high-quality, timely project delivery.
Fostering strong engagement with stakeholders and local communities to create positive project outcomes.
Ensuring strict compliance with industry standards, contracts, and governance processes.
Driving financial performance through effective cost control, accurate forecasting, and profit accountability.
Promoting a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement across all levels of the team.
Mentoring and developing team members, sharing best practices to enhance skills and project outcomes.
Knowledge / Education / Skills
Commercial awareness, and good level of programming and contract knowledge. Familiarity with NEC contracts, and an understanding of how project and package P&L impacts on corporate finances.
Experience managing a projects up to £30m.
Degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related field, professional certification in project management, or relevant experience.
Significant experience in highways construction, specifically road building and drainage systems.
Strong knowledge of NEC or ICE contract conditions and programme management.
