An exciting and rare opportunity for an experienced client-side Senior Electrical Design Manager to join a leading engineering team delivering complex infrastructure projects. You will join an established team and play a key role leading electrical design delivery from inception through to completion, developing safe, compliant and practical solutions across the RIBA design stages.
The role:
- Lead electrical design activities, programmes and multidisciplinary teams
- Develop client requirements and deliver detailed design solutions
- Provide technical advice to clients and review subcontractor designs
- Lead design reviews, risk assessments and quality assurance
- Support tenders, procurement and project delivery
- Ensure successful project handover and compliance with engineering standards
Key experience:
- Strong experience in LV distribution, lighting, small power, CHP, PV and EV systems
- Experience across the full engineering lifecycle
- Excellent client, communication and team leadership skills
- Experience mentoring junior engineers
