Job Description

Quantity Surveyor, Birmingham\\n\\nMy client, a Tier 1 contractor, are seeing a Quantity Surveyor to work on an iconic project from their Birmingham offices. This is an exciting time to join them as they are currently at peak construction so an ideal opportunity to develop your skills and experience while progressing your career.\\n\\nYou will:\\n\\n * Commercially manage a £250m+ package.\\n\\n * Report in to a Project Manager or Commercial Manager for relevant commercial aspects of a section of a project.\\n\\n * Have in depth knowledge and experience of contractual, commercial, insurance and legal processes.\\n\\n * Manage effective client relationship management to encourage smooth commercial progression of the contract(s).\\n\\n * Demonstrate and maintain a high level of commercial and technical knowledge and work closely with the delivery team to develop techniques and solutions to meet business and customer needs.\\n\\nYou must have:\\n\\n * BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or experience equivalent.\\n\\n * Previous experience working in a civils/infrastructure project as a Quantity Surveyor.\\n\\n * Knowledge of FRC or substructure works\\n\\nThere is a robust package available for the successful candidate:\\n\\n• Car/ car allowance\\n\\n• Flexible working available for some roles\\n\\n• Free parking\\n\\n• Travel allowance for eligible candidates\\n\\n• Family friendly leave policies\\n\\n• Excellent pension contributions\\n\\n• Healthcare\\n\\n• Health risk assessments\\n\\n• Access to employee assistance programmes\\n\\n• Access to annual flu vaccinations\\n\\nPlease note candidates will need to have a current valid right to work in the UK to be considered for this role\\n\\nFor more information, please give me a call or drop me your CV for immediate review
