Senior Electrical Design Engineer | Hampshire - South Coast
Permanent, full-time (Hybrid working)
I'm working with a well-established building services consultancy that's looking to appoint a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join its established team near Southampton. Known for delivering high-quality engineering solutions across a broad range of sectors, the business has built a strong reputation for technical excellence, collaborative working, and long-term client relationships. With a healthy pipeline of projects they're looking for an experienced engineer who wants to take ownership of projects and provide support and direction to junior engineers.The roleLead the electrical design on a variety of building services projects from concept through to completion.Manage your own workload while working closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams.Produce electrical calculations, specifications, reports, and technical drawings.Ensure designs meet current regulations, quality standards, and sustainability objectives.Support and mentor junior engineers, sharing technical knowledge across the team.Attend client and design team meetings, building strong working relationships throughout project delivery.About youExperience in electrical building services design within a consultancy environment.Degree, HNC or HND in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.Strong knowledge of UK building services design and relevant regulations.Experience with software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, Dialux or similar.A proactive, collaborative approach with excellent communication skills.This is an excellent opportunity to join a consultancy that genuinely invests in its people.
