A modern and forward-thinking property and construction consultancy are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to strengthen their team. Established over 30 years ago, they work for a broad range of clients across the private and public sectors, providing a full suite of property and construction consultancy solutions.

Role & Responsibilities of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:
Pre-Construction
- Undertaking feasibility studies
- Performing risk and value management assessments
- Compiling tender enquiries
- Procurement
- Cost planning
- Tender analysis
- Negotiating tenders and contracts
Construction
- Contract drafting
- Contract Administration
- Change management, assessment and instruction.
- Application and payments
- Final account negotiation
- Report writing
Other Activities
- Fund monitoring
- Reinstatement valuations
- Chairing meetings
Skills & Experience of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:
- This role is open to assistant quantity surveyors looking for the next step up, intermediate surveyors and/or project surveyors
- Strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
- Personable nature
- A desire to learn and the ability to learn quickly
- A reasonable understanding of construction methodologies and techniques
- The ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Preferably degree (or equivalent) educated (not necessarily in quantity surveying)
- A full clean driving licence and own vehicle
