An award winning, property and construction consultancy is seeking an Employer’s Agent to join their large and expanding multi-disciplinary team in their Winchester office. You will be working alongside professionals from a mix of backgrounds, including building surveying, project and cost management, engineering and architecture, all committed to delivering for their wide range of clients.
Role & Responsibilities of the Employer’s Agent:
- Support with pre contract and post contract client, developer and contractor meetings, taking and issuing minutes promptly
- Undertake review of drawings and specification proposals from contractors and developers
- Assist with the compilation of specifications and tender documents, including Employer’s Requirements
- Coordination of specialist surveys and tasks required from other project related consultants
- On-site inspections and pre-handover ‘snagging’
- Tracking and monitoring post completion defects, liaising with clients’ customer care teams and ensuring satisfactory conclusion of defects
Skills & Experience of the Employer’s Agent:
- Understanding of construction and development is desirable
- A desire to learn and progress rapidly.
- Excellent organisational skills and communication (both written and verbal)
