Are you an accountant coming to the end of your contract, hoping to put your feet up over Christmas without the stress of looking for your next role? Or maybe done with permanent positions altogether, instead looking for flexibility in the later stages of your career, without the long term commitment?
You will be working for Engenda Group as an accountant on a 10‑month maternity cover contract at our head office in Runcorn. Engenda Group is an engineering company, working on power stations, refineries and other critical infrastructure projects across the UK and Europe.
Start date: Early February
Salary: Up to 50k Pro rata
Hours: 40 per week
You will have the option to work flexibly, with core hours being 10‑3, but start and finish times flexible around your lifestyle, preferences and personal needs.
You Will Be Responsible For:
- Reconciling balance sheet control accounts, internal recharges and other key data
- Preparing and maintaining journals, supporting documentation and analysis
- Completing tasks allocated for month‑end and year‑end processes
- Producing reports and handling information requests
