Join us as a Shift Mechanical Technician in Bristol! This is a hands‑on role, responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving equipment to keep operations running efficiently and safely.
What you’ll do:
- Carry out reactive mechanical maintenance to minimise downtime.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults, escalating complex issues when needed.
- Support improvement projects and participate in root cause analysis (RCA) activities.
- Maintain accurate records in the CMMS and update documentation as required.
- Work collaboratively with production, quality, and engineering teams to meet KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
What you’ll bring:
- Apprenticeship to NVQ Lv3 or above in Mechanical Engineering or HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering.
- Previous experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, shift‑based team environment and commitment to health & safety.
