This national role is designed for a true business development hunter, someone who thrives on identifying new opportunities, opening doors, and driving high‑value growth through proactive, targeted engagement.
As our Business Development Manager, you will build and expand relationships with key stakeholders, uncover new project opportunities across the market, and influence decision-makers to secure specifications and win new business for Etex Fiber Cement. This is a highly proactive role focused on creating momentum, generating demand, and converting new opportunities into long‑term commercial success.
What you’ll do:
- Proactively drive sales growth by identifying and securing new opportunities with installers and main contractors.
- Set and negotiate pricing and terms to deliver profitable, sustainable revenue.
- Execute effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and margin targets.
- Influence purchasing decisions by presenting strong technical, aesthetic, and commercial solutions.
- Own and manage a robust pipeline from first contact through to project delivery.
- Work with the Head of Sales to develop strategic plans that grow market share.
- Gather and share market insights, customer feedback, and intelligence to support product and pricing decisions.
- Provide regular updates to the HoS on market activity, trends, and customer needs.
- Maintain accurate CRM data, managing leads, project stages, and customer engagement.
- Apply best practices in pipeline management, lead conversion, and follow‑up.
- Use sales enablement tools to support decision‑making and enhance customer experience.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders including fabricators, installers, and contractors.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Technical teams to ensure alignment across sales, technical support, and brand strategy.
- Work closely with Inside Sales, Technical, Marketing, and Fabrication Partners to support customer requirements.
What you’ll bring:
- Proven business development or field sales experience, within construction, ideally within the Façade sector.
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills with the ability to win and grow profitable business.
- Excellent relationship‑building abilities with installers, contractors, and key stakeholders.
- Confident managing a full sales pipeline and using CRM systems effectively.
- Clear communicator with the ability to present technical and commercial solutions persuasively.
