At Etex, we seek to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our customers and our communities. Are you looking for a company where you can learn, grow & lead? Join us as an Area Sales Manager, covering the Midlands and North (Ideal location, Derbyshire Area).

The Area Sales Manager will be critical in identifying new business opportunities for our Eternit product line. You will grow sales within your designated region through working with a combination of existing distributors and installers while developing relationships with new ones.

What you’ll do:

  • Build strong relationships with Installers, helping to nurture and grow the Eternit business with these key stakeholders.
  • Account manage the distributor network within the area to ensure that they have all the required knowledge, product stock and information to provide the best experience to smaller installers and farmers.
  • Build relationships with farming groups in the region and help develop the narrative of Eternit being the Agri building experts.
  • Work directly with farmers on their projects, to offer advice on the building and ensure the farmer gets the best building for their requirements.
  • Learn and develop knowledge around UK farming and anticipate future trends.
  • Persuade specifiers to promote the Eternit range of products and systems solutions to ensure that they are used on projects.
  • Manage sales area to meet sales revenue budgets.
  • Plan journeys and customer calls to achieve optimum use of time.
  • Maintain and improve our own product, system, regulations, and construction / Agri industry knowledge to stay ahead of the competition and maximize our sales opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain regular Eternit Installer and distribution network reviews to manage agreed activity plans.

  • A proven history of personal sales account growth whilst contributing to overall team success is essential.
  • A track record of efficient and profitable account management.
  • Confident interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft packages and CRM systems.
