This is a full-time, on-site role based at our Ferrybridge manufacturing site, working 39 hours per week Monday to Thursday 8am–4:30pm and Friday 8am–3:30pm, with some flexibility to start 30 minutes earlier. You’ll be working in our on-site laboratory, testing raw materials and finished products to make sure everything we produce meets our quality standards. There is occasional travel involved (around once or twice a year) for training or visiting customers, primarily to Bristol.

What you’ll do:

  • Responsible for testing raw materials, gypsum, stucco, and finished products in the on-site laboratory to make sure everything meets quality standards.
  • Record and analyse test results to spot trends, flag anything out of spec, and propose improvements to the manufacturing process.
  • Sorting boards to collect samples.
  • Go to raw gypsum store.
