The Shift Electrical Technician is responsible for providing on-shift electrical maintenance across multiple control systems (PLCs, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic) at our Stirling site. This permanent, full-time role requires flexibility to work rotating shift patterns including unsociable hours (nights, weekends, and potentially on-call cover). You’ll work 42 hours per week on a rotating four-week cycle to cover 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am shifts.
- Responds to and resolves site wide planned, preventative, reactive and emergency maintenance requests submitted into Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to minimise downtime as required, to support the site and ensure departmental KPI targets are achieved.
- Provides practical assistance to Production team leaders.
- Ensure all work is compliant with Health & Safety standards and risk assessments.
- Time served apprenticeship - HNC/HND qualified or equivalent with proven electrical experience ideally within manufacturing environments.
- Experience of a combination of fault-finding and repair on PLC's, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic control systems.
- Flexible, adaptable, and highly skilled maintenance/engineering technician who is comfortable with taking technical responsibility of production plant.
