Junior NOC Engineer – London (Onsite)

Salary: £40,000 We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading global financial technology organisation for a Junior NOC Engineer to join their London-based Network Operations Centre team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1–3 years’ experience in IT Support, Infrastructure, Data Centre Operations or a NOC environment who is looking to develop their technical skills within a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Please note that this role operates on a 24/7 shift pattern, working 4 days on followed by 4 days off.

Key

Responsibilities

  • Monitor network, server and application performance
  • Respond to system alerts, incidents and outages
  • Create and manage incident tickets while meeting SLA targets
  • Assist with root cause analysis and continuous service improvement
  • Support maintenance activities and planned infrastructure changes
  • Produce technical documentation and operational procedures Skills and Experience Needed
  • 1–3 years’ experience in a NOC, Data Centre Operations, Infrastructure Support or similar technical support role
  • Good understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals
  • Experience supporting Windows and Linux environments
