Our client, a large and forward-thinking organisation is urgently seeking a Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer to join their Head Office team in Hertfordshire. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated engineer with a solid background in network design, multi-site infrastructure, and on-premises and hybrid environments.
The Role
As a Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, maintaining, and evolving the organisation’s network and infrastructure, supporting a multi-office WAN environment. You’ll be responsible for:
- Designing, implementing, and optimising network infrastructure across multiple sites
- Managing and maintaining routers, switches, firewalls, and SAN storage
- Leading and contributing to the transition to enterprise-grade network solutions (Juniper, Cisco, or Fortinet)
- Supporting Windows Server, Active Directory, and VMware environments
- Ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability across all network and server systems
- Working across on-premises, Azure, and Microsoft 365 hybrid environments
