We are partnering with a global enterprise company looking for an experienced and commercially minded Global Head of Data. We are specifically looking for someone who has successfully scaled data teams within complex global enterprise environments. The successful candidate will have experience building capabilities from the ground up, creating clear data roadmaps, defining best practices, and embedding a data-driven culture across international business functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the global enterprise data strategy aligned to business and digital objectives.
  • Establish scalable global operating models across distributed enterprise environments.
  • Develop reusable enterprise data assets supporting digital services, analytics products, and AI-driven solutions.
  • Partner with Architecture teams to define modern cloud-based data platforms and AI-ready data pipelines.
  • Drive enterprise data governance, quality, lineage, privacy, and access control frameworks.
  • Enable trusted analytics and data-driven decision-making across business functions.
  • Lead the industrialisation of enterprise data capabilities to support scalable digital services.
  • Work closely with Cyber, Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams to ensure secure and ethical use of data.
  • Build strong relationships with executive leadership, regional stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Support the organisation's long-term ambitions around AI, automation, and intelligent digital services.

Required Experience

  • Proven experience leading enterprise-scale data transformation within complex global organisations.
  • Strong experience scaling and leading global data teams within distributed enterprise environments.
  • Demonstrated success building modern data operating models across international organisations.
  • Experience delivering cloud-based data platforms, enterprise analytics capabilities, and AI-ready architectures.
  • Strong understanding of modern data ecosystems, integration patterns, governance, and data engineering practices.
  • Experience creating reusable and productised data assets that support commercial and digital outcomes.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to operate credibly at Executive and Board level.
  • Track record delivering measurable business outcomes through enterprise data and analytics strategies.
  • Experience operating within large matrixed organisations and navigating complex stakeholder environments.
