HR Business Partner
Location: Central London, near Euston
Working: Predominantly office-based, Monday to Friday
We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join a busy, fast-paced operational business based in Central London.
This is a very ER-heavy role, taking ownership of employee relations across the division while partnering closely with operational managers.
You will also line manage two HR Advisors, providing guidance, support and development.
The Role
- Take ownership of Employee Relations across the division.
- Manage complex disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance and capability cases.
- Provide practical advice to managers on all aspects of HR and UK employment law.
- Coach managers through challenging and sensitive employee issues.
- Manage and develop two HR Advisors.
- Identify ER trends and recommend appropriate actions.
- Support TUPE, restructuring and organisational change.
- Partner with operational managers to support the wider people strategy.
- Support attraction, retention, engagement and succession planning.
- Build strong relationships with senior managers and key stakeholders.
- Support HR projects and wider business change initiatives.
Expensive Needed
- Extensive hands-on Employee Relations experience is essential.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
- Experience managing complex and high-volume ER casework.
- Previous line management experience.
- Experience within a fast-paced, operational and multi-site environment.
- Experience working within a unionised environment would be highly desirable.
- TUPE and restructuring experience would be advantageous.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Commercial, practical and confident approach to HR.
- Good Excel and HR data analysis skills.
