  • We are seeking a

Senior Associate – Compliance Monitoring & Testing (CMT) to support the execution of the CMT Program within an independent compliance oversight function. The role focuses on risk-based compliance monitoring and testing across financial services, including

AML/CFT, Sanctions, consumer protection, fair and safe trading, and systems and controls .

The successful candidate will work closely with Compliance, Enterprise Risk Management, Legal, Internal Audit, and business stakeholders to assess the effectiveness of compliance processes and controls, identify findings, and support remediation activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform risk-based Compliance Monitoring & Testing (CMT) reviews covering regulatory obligations related to

AML/CFT and Sanctions , as well as other compliance areas.

  • Execute testing activities in line with established

CMT policies, procedures, and methodology across the planning, execution, reporting, and remediation lifecycle.

  • Identify and escalate compliance issues and findings as appropriate.
  • Support the preparation of

CMT review reports , including documenting testing results and findings.

  • Work with stakeholders to perform root cause analysis and develop appropriate remediation plans .
  • Maintain and update findings and remediation documentation in

Archer .

  • Track and validate the implementation of remediation plans to confirm that identified findings have been appropriately addressed.
  • Support the development and delivery of

CMT training and awareness materials when required.

  • Monitor regulatory developments, industry events, emerging risks, and compliance trends that may impact products and the CMT Program.
  • Contribute to effective project management and efficient execution of CMT activities.
  • Collaborate with

Compliance, Enterprise Risk Management, Legal, Internal Audit, and business teams .

  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
  • Who We’re Looking For
  • 4+ years of experience executing

Internal Audit and/or Compliance Monitoring & Testing programs, testing plans, and activities across a diverse range of financial services or products.

  • Working knowledge of compliance laws, regulations, and risk management practices relevant to financial services.
  • Knowledge and practical experience auditing or testing compliance with

Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (Mi CA) .

  • Strong understanding of compliance testing, risk assessment, controls, findings, and remediation processes.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality work within budget and established deadlines .
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work flexible or extended hours when required to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with
  • Microsoft Office / Google Workspace , particularly

Word/Google Docs, Power Point/Google Slides, and Excel/Google Sheets .

  • Bachelor's degree in

Business, Finance , or a related discipline.

  • Nice to Have
  • Experience with data extraction and analysis using tools such as

SQL, Tableau, SAS, or Snowflake .

  • Experience monitoring and testing third-party vendors .
  • Experience working with or strong interest in cryptocurrency and digital assets .
  • Previous experience working with or exposure to financial services regulators .
  • Professional certifications such as

CRCM, CAMS, CIA, CISA, or CICA .
