We have an excellent job opportunity for you. /p p br /p p strong Job Title: WebMethods SME /strong /p p strong Location: Bristol or London /strong /p p strong Duration: Until 31/03/2027 /strong /p p strong Days on site: 1 day per week /strong /p p strong Pay Rate: Β£671 per day all-in (PAYE through Umbrella) /strong /p p strong Sector: Public /strong /p p strong Clearance required: Needs to hold SC /strong /p p br /p p strong Overview: /strong /p ul li Working within an agile integration delivery team developing and supporting a mission critical platform, with instances hosted on a cloud platform (Azure). /li li You are to be the developer leading the ongoing development and support of the integration plaform, including designing, developing, integrating and unit testing new features in response to Product Owner / Client priorities and fixing bugs/issues raised on the Live application. /li li You will have experience working with/developing webMethods products, like Integration Server, API Gateway, Universal Messaging, Designer, Swagger/OpenAPI. /li li You will be comfortable using the supporting tools for Agile product delivery such as JIRA (User Story / Defect / Task Management), Confluence (Documentation / Comms). /li /ul p br /p p strong u Key Responsibilities /u /strong /p ul li Development of rest and soap services using designer. /li li Development of Universal Messaging packages using designer /li li Configure and maintain an API Gateways using the delivered services. /li li Advise on integration patterns to help the client make best practice decisions. /li li Identify and resolve bugs and refinements to the existing integrations services. /li li Ensure secure coding practices and compliance with platform security posture. /li li Collaborate with UX, QA, and DevSecOps teams to deliver accessible, performant, and maintainable Integrations. /li li Monitor and troubleshoot applications /li li Contribute to design discussions, code reviews, and maintain documentation in Confluence. /li /ul p br /p p strong u Essential Technical Skills /u /strong /p p strong u Languages Frameworks /u /strong /p p o webMethods flow services 10.15 or above /p p o Integration Service, 10.15 or above /p p o JMS messaging like Universal Messaging /p p o API Gateway 10.15 or above /p p o Connectors AWS S3 file transfer /p p o SQL – Oracle, MSSQL or MySQL /p p o Elastic or OpenSearch /p p br /p p strong u Infrastructure Cloud /u /strong /p p o Azure /p p o Kubernetes fundamentals (pods, services, ingress, Istio, Traefik). /p p oContainerization with Docker/containerd. /p p br /p p strong u Collaboration Tools /u /strong /p p o Jira, Confluence, Teams. /p p br /p p strong u Travel: /u /strong /p p Hybrid role, predominantly remote, but some travel to the client site will be required (estimated 1-2 times per month to London and/or the South / South-East). /p p br /p p strong If you are interested in this position and would like to learn more, please send through your CV and we will get in touch with you as soon as possible.
