In this role, you will be supporting across three main areas, namely supplier engagement, colleague engagement, and reporting and disclosures.
For supplier engagement, you will be supporting our supplier engagement strategy including, but not limited to, conducting data analyses, preparing for Quarterly Business Reviews with Category Leads and key suppliers, and implementing CDP Supply Chain engagement. The type of initiatives that you may support could include expansion and upkeep of Green Hotel certifications, tracking and supporting engagement of suppliers via CDO Supply Chain and beyond, and implementing nudges in travel platforms.
For colleague engagement, you might support engagement efforts with Green Teams, fleet managers and others on an as needed basis. This will include conducting data analyses and extracting recommendations.
For reporting and disclosures, you will play a PMO role, supporting the delivery of environmental sustainability reporting requirements as well as EMS certification by gathering inputs, managing timelines, and working closely with stakeholders for a timely, coordinated delivery. You will be responsible for drafting initial disclosure content, ensuring it is clear, accurate, and high-quality, and applying strong quality control to deliver consistent and audit-ready outputs.
You will gather, analyze, and integrate information from internal and external stakeholders (including structured sustainability disclosures, supplier survey responses, and unstructured, large datasets such as travel data, finance data, and other emissions data) to inform priorities and track progress. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to assess and implement decarbonization initiatives. You will also support the delivery of audit-ready external disclosures and reports.
Your work will help achieve clients' public near- and long-term emissions reduction targets and make a positive difference for colleagues, suppliers, and the planet.
Skills
- 3+ years of relevant experience in environmental sustainability. Prior experience with sustainability reporting both voluntary (e.g., EcoVadis) and mandatory (e.g., NFRD) and with ISO 14001 a strong plus.
- Bachelor’s/university degree required.
- Strong Organizational and Process Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple workstreams in parallel, prioritize effectively, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality outputs while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong Analytical and Data Handling Skills: Proven ability to work with complex and large datasets, derive insights, and support data-driven decision-making. High level of accuracy and attention to detail is critical. Advanced proficiency in Excel required, with knowledge of SQL and/or Python a plus but not required.
- Structured Problem-Solving: Ability to break down problems, conduct analyses, and develop well-supported initial recommendations to inform team discussions and decision-making.
- Outstanding Communication: Clear and concise written and verbal communication. Ability to deliver consistent, high-quality, and audit-ready outputs, including in the context of voluntary and mandatory sustainability disclosures.
