IBM Z Technical Specialist – Db2

  • Primary responsibility is to design and provide support on the database technology, ensuring customer delight as per the defined size, effort and schedule confirming to quality standards and best practices.
  • Maintain and improve SLA’s and always ensure compliance to client policies.
  • Perform pro-active analysis on day-to-day work to obtain automation on deliveries thereby reducing repetitive and standardized tasks/processes.
  • Have thorough understanding of the environments to provide best service quality.
  • Work closely with the stakeholders to avail/impart all necessary training from time to time to ensure enhanced service delivery.
  • Experience working on several large complex projects in an architectural role designing and implementing technical solutions to commercial problems.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, particularly when conveying complex information, and the ability to build effective networks across business areas, developing relationships based on mutual trust.
  • Production support and Release Management of database environments.
  • Define the physical database Design.
  • Build, review, QA, implement, and support application database releases.
  • Data conversion/migration assistance.
