The Opportunity: Client is in search of an EMEA SEO Manager to lead organic search and generative search efforts for one of our flagship product categories, Acrobat or Firefly. We are dedicated to unlocking growth opportunities, refining content strategy, and ensuring our products remain the go-to solutions in an increasingly AI-driven search landscape. This role blends SEO strategy, GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation), content optimisation, content creation, and analytics to enhance visibility across both traditional and AI-powered search and to drive meaningful engagement. As part of our team, you'll play a key role in shaping SEO- and GEO-led content strategies that align with customer intent, evolving search behaviour, and client's broader marketing goals. You will collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to ensure your strategies align with the team's priorities and the business's big bets.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and implement a content-focused SEO strategy for your product category (Acrobat or Firefly) to enhance visibility and drive organic traffic growth.
  • Own GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) initiatives, optimising content and entity signals to win citations and visibility across ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, Claude, and Gemini.
  • Conduct deep keyword research and search intent analysis, using tools like SEMRush, Analytics, and Google Search Console, to inform content decisions.
  • Augment SEO and GEO workflows with AI, using AI tools to accelerate keyword research, content gap analysis, topical authority planning, and reporting at scale.
  • Improve existing content and spearhead the development of new SEO and GEO focused content, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and best-in-class methodologies.
  • Collaborate with content strategists, UX designers, and marketing teams to craft search-friendly web experiences that drive engagement and conversions.
  • Develop data-led hypotheses to refine content structure, search intent alignment, and optimise for long-term visibility across traditional and generative search.
  • Analyse SEO and GEO performance, identify key trends, report on impact, and spot opportunities to grow content efforts.
  • Identify emerging trends and timely opportunities using search and AI-visibility insights to inform content strategies and unify marketing efforts.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • 5+ years of SEO experience, with a strong focus on content strategy SEO.
  • Experience augmenting SEO workflows with AI, leveraging AI tools and automation to scale keyword research, content production, competitive analysis, and reporting.
  • Demonstrable understanding of GEO / LLMO, how to optimise content for visibility and citations in AI-generated answers (AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini), including entity signals, structured data, and answer-led content formats.
  • Expertise in SEO tools like SEMRush, Google Search Console, and content optimisation platforms.
  • Strong analytical approach, with experience using SEO analytics to craft content strategies and measure impact.
  • Experience developing SEO-friendly content in collaboration with content marketing and UX teams that strives to act as part of a funnel.
  • Ability to analyse keyword trends, forecast performance, and report on core SEO and GEO metrics.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable presenting SEO and GEO insights and recommendations across teams.
  • Further to English, speaking another EU language is a plus.
  • A track record of augmenting SEO workflows with AI, using AI to speed up and scale research, content, and reporting, is a strong plus.
