Job Description:

Background

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be part of a multidisciplinary analytics team that works across Service Delivery, Digital and Transformation to deliver insight, advanced analytics, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence solutions. The team partners with stakeholders to understand complex business challenges, identify opportunities where data can add value, and support evidence-based decision-making.

The Client’s Team uses enterprise data and a range of analytical and data science techniques to improve services for citizens and colleagues. Through exploration of complex datasets, development of innovative analytical products and clear communication of insights, the team helps drive service improvements, support transformation and deliver measurable outcomes at scale.

Key tasks:

  • Working within a multidisciplinary analytics team, you will lead the development of advanced analytics, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence solutions to support decision-making across Later Life Services.
  • You will work closely with stakeholders across Service Delivery, Digital and Transformation to understand complex business challenges, identify opportunities where data can add value, and deliver actionable insight that improves services for citizens.
  • Using a range of analytical and data science techniques, you will explore large and complex datasets to solve business problems, uncover opportunities for service improvement, and provide clear evidence-based recommendations.
  • You will build strong relationships with colleagues and senior stakeholders, communicating complex analysis in a way that informs decisions and increases understanding of the opportunities and limitations of data science.
