Hiring: Lead Quality Specialist (Quality Management)
Location: Nailsea, UK
Contract: 12 Months
We are looking for an experienced Lead Quality Specialist to support major projects within the energy/oil & gas sector.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as the quality focal point across project teams, suppliers, and stakeholders
• Develop and manage Project Quality Plans (PQPs), ITPs, and quality documentation
• Drive quality assurance across design, manufacturing, testing, and installation phases
• Lead audits, risk assessments, NCR management, root cause analysis, and CAPA activities
• Support supplier qualification, surveillance, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Monitor quality metrics and ensure compliance with ISO, API, ASME, and industry standards
Ideal Candidate Profile:
10+ years' experience in Quality Management / Project Quality
Engineering degree or equivalent quality experience
Strong background in oil & gas, energy, subsea, or deepwater projects and experience in small tools, valves.
Experience with fabrication, assembly, construction, and offshore applications
Knowledge of QMS, audits, RCA, CAPA, and quality improvement methodologies
Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills
