Hiring: Lead Quality Specialist (Quality Management)
Location: Nailsea, UK
Contract: 12 Months
We are looking for an experienced Lead Quality Specialist to support major projects within the energy/oil & gas sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the quality focal point across project teams, suppliers, and stakeholders
- Develop and manage Project Quality Plans (PQPs), ITPs, and quality documentation
- Drive quality assurance across design, manufacturing, testing, and installation phases
- Lead audits, risk assessments, NCR management, root cause analysis, and CAPA activities
- Support supplier qualification, surveillance, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitor quality metrics and ensure compliance with ISO, API, ASME, and industry standards
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 10+ years’ experience in Quality Management / Project Quality
- Engineering degree or equivalent quality experience
- Strong background in oil & gas, energy, subsea, or deepwater projects and experience in small tools, valves.
- Experience with fabrication, assembly, construction, and offshore applications
- Knowledge of QMS, audits, RCA, CAPA, and quality improvement methodologies
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills
