Summary:
- Under direct supervision learns to operate logging-while-drilling and directional drilling tool(s) and services as assigned.
- Must be able to read well plan, execute directional drilling and to perform basic maintenance at the wellsite.
- Performs all required responsibilities safely and as described in work instructions.
- Executes other related duties as assigned by the supervisors.
- Conducts all business activities in accordance with Client HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Client Core Values.
- Must complete all training and development programs required.
Responsibilities:
- Have an understanding of measurement/logging whilst drilling fundamentals such as mud pulse telemetry.
- Have an understanding of the Client MWD and or LWD tool suite.
- Have an understanding of Client directional drilling tools.
- Be a fantastic communicator and team player.
- Be able to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.
Required:
- Hold a technical degree.
- Industry experience in a similar position.
- Strong communication and inter-personal skills; excellent customer awareness.
- Ability to relate to well site personnel at all levels, be a strong team member, and demonstrate leadership capability.
