We are currently looking for an experienced Maintenance Planner to join a leading engineering and manufacturing environment in Leicester.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain CMMS systems, including asset, inventory, and schedule management
- Create daily and weekly maintenance schedules for engineering teams
- Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance activities
- Manage maintenance spares, procurement activities, and purchase orders
- Liaise with contractors, arrange site visits, permits, risk assessments, and service reports
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and maintenance performance
- Required Skills & Experience:
- Maintenance Planning / Maintenance Scheduling experience
- CMMS, SAP, ERP, or similar maintenance management systems
- Work Order Planning and Preventive Maintenance
- Inventory Management and Spare Parts Control
- Procurement and Purchase Order Management
- Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience within an engineering, manufacturing, or maintenance environment
- Desirable:
- SAP experience
- SSG Insight Agility experience
- Maintenance Engineering background
