We are currently looking for a Sourcing Specialist to join the Procurement team at Druck in Leicester on a 12-month contract basis.
Location: Leicester, UK
Work Model:
- Full-time onsite during training
- Hybrid working after training completion (3 days onsite)
Contract Duration: 12 Months
Rate: £17.31 per hour
Working Hours: 37.5 hours/week (8 AM – 4 PM with flexibility available)
About the Role
This role is ideal for someone with experience in purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain operations who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supplier management, procurement coordination, and operational problem-solving.
You will be responsible for managing purchase orders, supplier communication, inventory replenishment activities, and supporting procurement operations to ensure smooth supply chain performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing MRP requirements and purchase orders
- Handling supplier quotations and schedule changes
- Maintaining and updating ERP systems
- Monitoring supplier performance and resolving delivery/quality issues
- Supporting inventory management and material replenishment processes
- Assisting new product introduction and subcontracting activities
- Resolving shipping discrepancies, invoice errors, and PO issues
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain
- Working collaboratively with procurement, quality, engineering, and operations teams
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Experience in Buying, Procurement, or Sourcing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience using ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Relevant experience within manufacturing or engineering environments
- Electronics industry exposure is highly desirable
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related field
- Supply Chain or CIPS certification is highly desirable
