As the Project Manager in the Go To Market (GTM) PMO team, you will have a diverse set of responsibilities and will be a critical member of the GTM PMO team, responsible for ensuring that the Go To Market segments are successful in their programmes to acquire annual recurring revenue (ARR) globally.
In this role, we’ll rely on your business and operational expertise, stakeholder management skills, and problem-solving abilities to help us get newly acquired customers faster than ever before.
What you’ll do:
- Strategy & Pace to Execution: Act as the primary source of information for the “when” and “how” of the strategic programmes in the portfolio, and the overall portfolio itself. Collaborate with Go-to-Market Managers to expedite Sales Initiatives' launch process, from ideation to implementation. Partner with Sales RTM (Route to Market) Leads, driving efficiencies and productivity on transformational initiatives. Be a support participant during due diligence and planning cycles (annual and quarterly) to understand the strategic objectives and provide a perspective on GTM integration planning, risks, and challenges.
- Stakeholder Management & Communication: Demonstrate cross-functional leadership through collaboration and effective relationships by working closely with key partners and team members across Sales, Product, Sales Ops, Marketing, Finance, IT and other key Orgs to deliver the strategic initiatives with an end goal of driving customer acquisition and retention. Work with and influence other groups and functional areas in defining policy, procedures, or systems. Prepare presentations for the team and senior management highlighting performance in an easy-to-understand, executive-ready manner. Set up an appropriate communications infrastructure including cross-functional team meetings, status reporting, and informal conversations to track initiative status and keep stakeholders up to date. Understand the unique challenges that GTM initiatives bring in a hyper matrixed environment, and approach them through an empathetic and solution-oriented lens.
- PMO, Governance & Performance: Strong sense of accountability and management of end-to-end project life cycle: effort estimation, scope management, planning, monitoring and reporting of project execution (risks management, timeline, dependencies etc.). Develop and execute comprehensive project plans to achieve the business success metrics and value drivers. Focus on developing new processes to eliminate barriers and bottlenecks that impact efficiency to help streamline our initiatives, as well as optimizing existing ones. Assist in the development and ongoing improvement of PMO team standard methodologies, playbooks, processes and tools - and ensure they are effectively understood and utilized across the business. Identify areas of improvements to our PMO operations and help drive improvements through our PMO scalability initiatives.
What You Will Need to Succeed:
- You have a bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years of GTM Operations, Program Management or Business Operations experience (ideally at fast-paced software companies).
- 8+ years of project management experience.
- Proficient in MS Suite, as well as Smartsheets, Lucid Chart, and other collaborative cloud-based document management / creation platforms. Experience with Workfront is desirable.
- Meticulous attention to detail, and have exceptional project management skills.
