Job Description:
- Lead the development team for a complex data transformation program.
- Regular engagement and reporting back to the DSA Engineering Lead.
- Enact the DSA engineering lead's direction to help achieve DSA's goals and timelines.
- Advise and influence client on goals and direction as well as strategic forward look for a sustainable solution, minimizing technical debt where possible.
Key Technical Skills:
- Experienced Full-Stack Senior Developer with expertise in Python, SQL, AWS Data Services, Kubernetes, Kafka, and related technologies.
- Proficient in delivering data products within secure environments.
- Skilled in building and maintaining microservices based on approved designs.
- Ensures compliance with security, data protection, and data-handling policies and regulations.
- Collaborates with Architects to influence the technical design of data platforms and products, considering scalability, performance, and innovation.
- Experience in developing for data platforms is preferred.
Leadership:
- Proven track record of driving a pipeline of products into production.
- Ability to mentor and motivate junior team members, fostering a high-velocity mindset.
- Ensures code quality meets industry and organizational best practices and standards.
- Leads root cause analysis and problem-solving efforts within the team.
- Guides and coaches team members to resolve their own blockers.
- Manages dependencies with external suppliers and infrastructure teams.
- Demonstrates excellent stakeholder and customer management skills.
