The Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in bridging business needs with technology solutions across the telecoms communication landscape. This includes Cloud services, Mobile communications, Messaging platforms, Fixed voice infrastructure, and Enterprise customer services. The role demands a strong understanding of telecom operations, stakeholder engagement, and business process optimisation.
What you'll do:
- Elicit, document, and manage business and technical requirements across telecom domains.
- Ensure traceability of requirements through testing and supplier alignment.
- Conduct gap analysis and validate solution coverage against business needs.
- Collaborate with architects to review High-Level Architecture (HLA) for completeness and feasibility.
- Analyse and document business processes, especially those involving cross-functional teams and technical operations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and proposing enhancements.
- Utilise your communication skills to interface with and influence a broad range of multi-disciplinary teams (solutions architecture, test & delivery, support, product, partners, customer team).
- Map and analyse stakeholder groups to ensure effective communication and alignment.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather insights and validate requirements.
- Support Project/Programme Delivery team with risk/issue management.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships at all levels from stakeholders to project team members.
- Contribute to project scoping, feasibility assessments, and initiation documentation.
- Support delivery teams in aligning business goals with technical execution, especially in complex environments like Telco Cloud and Mobile Core.
- Use cutting-edge technology/tools to efficiently & effectively deliver programmes.
What you'll bring:
- Very strong Telecommunications Industry expertise with experience working as a Business Analyst (and ideally with Solution Architecture and/or Project Management background) in complex multivendor constellations.
- Telco Cloud delivery experience with at least one of the major players like Nokia or Ericsson or similar.
- Very strong communication and people leadership skills.
- A strong background across voice/packet-core network technologies, telco cloud, and OSS & BSS.
- High focus on quality of any deliverable and delivery experience of all stakeholders.
You will be:
- Passionate about delivering a great customer experience, establishing a well-documented structure across deliveries.
- Tech-savvy in using tools supporting collaboration and virtual ways-of-working in a fast-paced environment.
