Location: London, WC2N 5EH (2 – 3 days onsite/week) PAYE through Umbrella) Contractor Must Be Sc Cleared (Active) The Operational Technology (OT) Consultant is responsible for advising clients on the design, implementation, optimization, and security of OT environments that support industrial operations and critical infrastructure. The role bridges the gap between Operational Technology and Information Technology (IT), helping organizations improve operational efficiency, resilience, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance across manufacturing, utilities, energy, transportation, and other industrial sectors. OT environments commonly include industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA systems, PLCs, sensors, and industrial networks. Assess existing OT infrastructure, processes, and operational risks. Provide expert guidance on OT modernization and digital transformation initiatives. Support IT/OT convergence programs and operational excellence initiatives. [ibm.Design, review, and optimize industrial control system architectures. Support implementation and maintenance of SCADA, DCS, PLC, and HMI solutions. Evaluate OT assets and identify opportunities for performance improvement. Advise on industrial networking and communications technologies.
