Job Type: Full-time contract, 12 months

Work Model: Onsite

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the buying process for a given set of goods and services.
  • Apply sourcing policy, interface between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and budgets.
  • Take care of RFQs and contact suppliers for competitive quotations.
  • Place and follow up on Purchase Orders (PO) and manage relationships with suppliers for PO execution.
  • Ensure on-time delivery of required goods and services and monitor the status.
  • Detect and signal flaws in approaches, methods, procedures and processes, and suggest improvements.
  • Handle contract negotiation and renovation and discussions with suppliers.
  • Manage supplier relationships to understand the business, gather market intelligence, assess risk, and ensure compliance to KPIs.
  • Handle communication with colleagues and the business about data gathering and analysis.
  • Manage problems and scheduling changes.
  • Report supplier performance and any non-conformity cases.
  • Process and take care of suppliers' invoices and any required rectification.
  • Understand the content of purchased items and prepare comparison tables to find the best value.

Required:

  • Experience gained in sourcing/buying/procurement (minimum 2 years) in Oil.
