We are currently supporting a leading global organisation within the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector in their search for an experienced Communications Manager.
This is an exciting opportunity to support both internal and external communications activities, helping to drive employee engagement, corporate reputation, leadership visibility, media relations, and strategic communication campaigns across the UK business.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of internal and external communication strategies.
- Develop and deliver communication campaigns across multiple business areas.
- Manage media relations, media monitoring, and reputation management activities.
- Create engaging content for digital platforms, social media, intranet, newsletters, and employee communications.
- Support leadership communications and executive engagement initiatives.
- Partner with global and regional teams to localise communication campaigns for the UK market.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen organisational visibility and reputation.
- Manage relationships with external communications agencies and stakeholders.
- Analyse engagement metrics and communication performance to support future strategy.
Required Experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience within Corporate Communications, Internal Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing Communications.
- Experience within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, biotechnology, or life sciences sector.
- Strong background in media relations, stakeholder engagement, and campaign management.
- Experience creating content across digital, social media, and internal communication channels.
- Ability to translate complex information into clear and engaging messaging.
- Experience working across international and cross-functional teams.Knowledge of pharmaceutical compliance requirements is advantageous.
