We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner to support a complex and fast-paced business environment. This role will work closely with senior stakeholders and budget holders, providing financial insight, challenge, and support to drive effective decision-making and business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders and budget holders, acting as a trusted finance partner.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and month-end reporting activities.
- Produce financial analysis, management reports, variance analysis, and insightful commentary to support decision-making.
- Review, challenge, and support the development of business cases, investment proposals, and financial plans.
- Work collaboratively with operational and finance teams to ensure forecasts, budgets, and reporting are delivered accurately and on time.
- Support procurement planning, resource planning, and financial governance activities.
- Provide financial insight and recommendations to support strategic and operational objectives.
- Participate in governance forums and stakeholder meetings, representing the finance function.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting quality, and business performance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner, Senior Finance Business Partner, Finance Manager, or similar role.
- Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and variance analysis.
- Experience developing or reviewing business cases and supporting investment decisions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial systems.
- Experience working within complex organisations and managing multiple priorities.
- Professional finance qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent) desirable.
