Job Title: Quality Inspector
Contract: 3 months contract (Possibility of extension)
Location: Leicester, UK
Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Quality Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that products meet quality standards through thorough inspection and collaboration with production teams.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Quality Control and Final Inspection in line with the customer requirements, drawings and procedures.
- Investigate any observed deficiencies and ensure they are corrected to the required standard.
- Liaise with operators, line leaders and engineers.
- Report and escalate issues if required.
- Support other Quality related activities if required.
Required Qualifications:
- HNC/HND or on-the-job experience in quality assurance or inspection roles or other technical experience in welding, soldering, assembly or test.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical documentation.
- Previous technical experience in welding, soldering, assembly, or testing
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Experience working with microscopes for detailed inspections is beneficial
- Strong attention to detail β able to spot even minor deviations from specifications
Technical mindset
- Comfortable in a production environment β including working on the shop floor
- fluent in Englisch, verbal and written
