Chartered Surveyor (Contract)
\n We are seeking an experienced Chartered Surveyor to join a well-established organisation on a
6-month contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a property professional with strong land acquisition and rural property experience to support a range of land and property projects. \n
Location
Mansfield with travel to various sites (2-3 days per week onsite/site visits) \n
Key Responsibilities

Acquire land and property rights and interests to support operational programmes.

Undertake land and property inspections in line with health and safety procedures.
- \n
Carry out property due diligence for acquisitions and ongoing projects.
- \n
Review sites and provide professional advice and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Engage and negotiate with landowners, occupiers, agents, local authorities and other stakeholders.
- \n
Identify, assess and help manage property-related risks, issues and opportunities.
- \n
Support a variety of property and land management activities as required.

Essential Experience

Experience in property, land surveying or a related discipline.
- \n
Proven experience undertaking site inspections and property due diligence.
- \n
Knowledge of land acquisition processes.
- \n
Strong understanding of property-related risks and opportunities.
- \n
Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- \n
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- \n
Full UK driving licence with willingness to travel regularly.
- \n
RICS Chartered Surveyor qualification.

Desirable Experience

Background in rural property, agriculture, land management or another land-based discipline.

Experience working with landowners, occupiers and rural stakeholders.

Membership of a relevant professional body such as CAAV.
