\nRole Title: Security Assurance Specialist
Location: Manchester | Hybrid, 80% remote
Duration: 2 initial months contract
Clearance required- Active SC
\nRole Description:
\n- \n
- Maintain oversight of cyber security risks across suppliers \n
- Ensure risks are: Identified, Assessed, Recorded, Tracked & Escalated appropriately \n
- Govern risk acceptance and exception management processes \n
- Support risk-based prioritisation across security disciplines \n
- Coordinate supplier compliance activities within the SIAM framework \n
- Validate supplier adherence to agreed security requirements \n
- Monitor security performance against contractual obligations \n
- Drive accountability for control weaknesses, non-compliance, and improvement actions \n
- Maintain visibility of compliance obligations and control requirements \n
- Support compliance against frameworks and standards such as: \n
- ISO 27001, NIST CSF, NCSC guidance & Secure by Design principles \n
- Coordinate remediation of identified compliance gaps \n
- Produce consolidated security governance reporting \n
- Provide visibility of: Security risks, Compliance status, Control effectiveness, Supplier performance & Assurance findings \n
- Present governance information to client stakeholders and governance forums \n
- Support strategic planning and risk-informed decision making \n
- Drive security governance maturity improvements across the supplier landscape \n
- Identify opportunities to improve: Risk management, Compliance processes & Assurance effectiveness \n
- Security governance practices \n
- Support continuous improvement programmes across the cyber security operating model \n
- Facilitate cross-supplier resolution of governance issues \n
