Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated Trainee Service Centre Technician to join our dynamic team. This role involves working with a wide range of electronic and mechanical test and measurement equipment, learning to understand various measurement instruments, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain multiple test stations, typically controlled via PC-based programs.
  • Perform manual measurements of electronic signals using appropriate test equipment.
  • Communicate with customers to provide progress updates.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve key performance metrics.

Opportunities: While the role is primarily service center-based, there may be opportunities to join our customer-facing team and work on-site once fully trained.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs (grades A to C) including Mathematics, English, and Physics.
  • A-level or BTEC qualifications in Electronics Engineering are advantageous.
  • Previous experience in fault-finding, troubleshooting, and electronic test and measurement is beneficial.
  • Good knowledge of computer architecture and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel).
