OverviewAs a Marketing Finance Coordinator, you will be supporting the company\’s Marketing function, with visibility into marketing programs to improve ROI. You will drive financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis efforts with input on key areas of Marketing Finance. You will refine and develop marketing finance processes, working closely with a diverse team of marketing managers from across the EMEA region. Your role will contribute to defining and managing the marketing finance systems and processes across a range of channels, teams and verticals. This candidate will work closely with marketing operations, regional marketing, media and finance, to drive the systems and processes required to manage the complex marketing and finance work streams in our region.
Responsibilities
Business partnerships – Work closely with Marketing teams to develop financial forecasts, provide insights as it relates to financial performance and improve processes.
Marketing Finance – Interact regularly with Marketing Operations, Marketing Finance and Regional Marketing stakeholders, to maintain support documentation and corresponding details to support marketing-related expenses.
Financial planning – support the monthly, quarterly, annual, and long-range planning process.
Lead the monthly accrual process – Together with marketing managers, ensuring that our reported spend is accurate and reflects the reality on the ground.
Host training and development sessions – Be the subject matter expert and train a team of Marketing managers from across the region on any process updates or developments made as it relates to marketing finance.
Requirements
2+ years professional experience in marketing, preferably project management, marketing operations.
Relationship builder – Ability to proactively cultivate strong business partner relationships and communicate effectively (written and spoken) with team members.
A keen strategic point of view and the ability to write and present strategic presentations.
Experience in managing end-to-end projects or programs in a marketing, technology or finance workspace.
Demonstrated strategic finance or accounting capabilities and experience.
Self-motivated and dedicated – able to work and problem-solve independently.
Strong enthusiasm for implementing systems and processes.
Adaptable – comfortable in an ever-changing ecosystem of content, finance and accounting issues and projects.
Systems savvy – Advanced Google Sheets, Slides and Docs experience.
Qualifications
BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Economics or other relevant subject.
Minimum 2 – 3 years of relevant experience.
