We wish to appoint an Attendance Lead to play a crucial role in promoting and ensuring the attendance, and safety of our students. This position will involve close collaboration with staff, students, families and external agencies to create a supportive environment that prioritises attendance, safeguarding and educational engagement.
This is a non‑teaching role. The successful candidate will have a good standard of education in English and Maths to at least GCSE C/4 level, together with experience of working with vulnerable children/adults and working in an attendance or safeguarding role in an educational setting.
The hours of work are 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm with a 30‑minute unpaid lunch break, term time + inset days. The salary for these positions is paid at NJC Points 21‑24 £33,143 – £35,412 pro rata.
Katharine Lady Berkeley’s is a large comprehensive school of 1555 students with 292 in the Sixth Form. A high performing school that sits at the heart of the local community with extensive links to the surrounding area, the school is within easy commuting distance of Bristol and Gloucester being just 10 minutes from Junction 14 of the M5.
