About Us
Winstanley College is a vibrant and inclusive sixth form College committed to providing outstanding education and support for our students aged 16 β 19. We take pride in our clean, safe and welcoming campus and are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our facilities team.
The Role
We are seeking a conscientious and dedicated individual to carry out cleaning duties to a high standard across the College site. You will play a key role in ensuring that teaching and communal areas are kept clean, hygienic and safe for students and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- General cleaning of classrooms, corridors, toilets, offices and communal areas
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and dusting
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely
- Ensuring cleaning materials are used responsibly and stored correctly
- Reporting any maintenance or health & safety issues to the property manager
About You
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
- Understanding of health and safety in cleaning environment
- Previous cleaning experience would be advantageous, but not essential
