About the Candidate
The ideal candidate will possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with a wide range of audiences through events, presentations, workshops, and oneātoāone interactions. You will be a natural relationshipābuilder, able to establish strong, professional connections with colleagues, schools, community organisations, and external partners. As a proactive and organised individual, you will demonstrate excellent time management and attention to detail, capable of planning and delivering multiple highāquality events simultaneously. As a changemaker, creativity and innovation are essential, particularly when designing memorable engagement experiences that reflect the collegeās values and appeal to diverse learner groups. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and external partners while remaining responsive to changing priorities and feedback.
Role Responsibilities
- Plan & Deliver Recruitment Events: Organise impactful internal and external events (e.g. open days, campus visits, school outreach) aligned with strategic priorities and subject areas.
- Promote College Offerings: Deliver engaging presentations and workshops to showcase college pathways, filling gaps in local education and training.
- Develop External Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, community groups, and other partners, acting as the main contact for outreach efforts.
- Event Promotion: Collaborate with Marketing to promote events via digital, print, and social media channels, ensuring consistent and engaging messaging.
- Track & Evaluate Impact: Use data and the CRM system to monitor event performance, measure engagement, and inform continuous improvement.
- Coāordinate with Colleagues: Work with a variety of stakeholders across the entire group including curriculum, student services, estates and other teams as required.
Qualifications
- Level 2 Maths and English
- A professional quality in a related field and/or Level 6 qualification is desirable but not essential
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience of public speaking such as delivering presentations or workshops
- Experience of working in an events related or marketing role
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
