Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for a Learning Support Assistant – Adults (Mathematics) to join our Adult Learning team at Slough & Langley College on a permanent part-time basis. This part-time position requires working 20 hours per week for 37 weeks per year during term time, Monday to Thursday.

The role pays between £10,819.36 and £12,025.30 on Scale G of the Support Staff pay scale, but the full-time equivalent salary would be (G16 £24,098 to G19 £26,784 FTE).

Responsibilities:

You will support adult learners studying maths programmes, including Functional Skills and GCSE Mathematics. Learners may have a range of additional needs, including SEND, learning difficulties, or barriers to learning. You will provide learning support on a one-to-one basis, in small groups, or within a classroom setting, working closely with teaching staff to help learners access the curriculum. Your role will be a key part in supporting learners to build confidence, develop numeracy skills, and achieve their learning goals and qualifications. By assisting with the delivery of structured and planned learning support, you will help adult learners engage fully in their studies, progress academically, and reach their full potential.
