Bridge House Independent School in Boston, Lincolnshire is seeking to employ Learning Support Assistant to join the team at our primary school.
Everything we do at Bridge House is about the future success of our students who have found themselves outside of mainstream education due to their Social, Emotional or Mental-Health needs. The children access a broad curriculum, with a wide range of learning opportunities which are taught, alongside self-regulation and social skills, within our warm, welcoming, and nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Support in classroom settings, contributing to a positive learning environment for students with Social, Emotional or Mental-Health needs.
- Support pupils to engage with a broad curriculum and develop self-regulation and social skills.
- Assist teachers with curriculum delivery and student progress where required.
Qualifications
- Ideally, the successful candidate will have previous experience supporting in a classroom setting.
- A Level 2 qualification is desirable, however this is not mandatory, and we welcome applications from unqualified candidates who have the desire to upskill their knowledge and challenge themselves.
