Teaching Assistant in Ramsbottom

Rossendale School is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to work alongside teachers across all key stages, supporting pupils with their learning and behaviour while building positive relationships with them.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher in delivering lessons and supporting pupils with their work.
• Support pupil behaviour and establish a positive learning environment.
• Act as a role model and respond to individual learning and development needs.
• Ensure that pupils’ special educational needs are addressed in line with the school’s philosophy and policies.
• Help all pupils achieve their academic potential.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to undergo safeguarding screening, including DBS checks and at least two references covering the last three years.
